NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
| The major objective of the project was to increase income level and reduce poverty of the poor and disadvantaged groups of people in the project VDCs through income generation program. The project focused on the formation of “Community Organizations” and their strengthening by different skill enhancement training for the sustainability of the programme and livelihood improvement of the beneficiaries. The project also aimed at the promotion and development of local community institutions and user groups to plan, manage and sustain economic development at the local level. The major activities conducted by the project were – social mobilization, capacity building, building community infrastructures, income generation activities, technical assistance/support, linkage and coordination etc. |
