Skill Up! Global Program Review Workshop Organised in Nepal

The Skill Up! Global Program review workshop was successfully organized in Surkhet and Kathmandu from 22nd -26th August, 2022. Altogether, 30 professionals from nine different countries of ASIA and Africa, and programme management team from Germany participated in the event. The project is funded by BMZ Germany and managed by Welthungerhilfe (WHH) globally while field implementation is done by respective country partners including CEAPRED in Nepal.
During the workshop, the project staff of respective countries shared the progress, learnings and challenges of the program implemented in their countries. The program review was done on 22nd and 23rd Aug, A learning sharing field visit was organized on 24th Aug, planning for the upcoming period was done on 25th Aug and closing of the workshop together with expert sharing was done in Kathmandu on 26th Aug 2022.
The field visit sites included Janjyoti High School (partnering with Skill Up! project as Green College for providing Skill training to unemployed youths), enterprises of the SMEs trained by the green college, and the Farmers Field Schools (FFS) demonstration farms. The visitors observed the activities implemented at each of the locations and interacted with the project beneficiaries. The Skill Up! golobal team members were highly impressed of the results achieved and appreciated the efforts of CEAPRED and Janjyoti High School.
