CEAPRED’s Annual General Meeting concludes

The 35^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Center for Environmental and Agricultural Policy Research, Extension and Development (CEAPRED) was held successfully on Sep 29, 2023 at its headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Pius Raj Mishra, Vice-Chairperson (Acting Chairperson) of the Center.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Indra Raj Pandey, a Board Member, followed by the presentation of organization’s report for fiscal year 2079/80 BS by Mr. Bed Bhattarai, the Executive Director of CEAPRED. Dr. Munni Sharma, the Treasurer of the Center, then presented financial report in the AGM.

General members of the Center actively participated in the meeting. They expressed their appreciation for the significant achievements of the Center across the various project activities. The queries posed during the meeting were promptly addressed by the Executive Director, and the suggestions and feedback received were taken positively, with the commitment to implement them to the best possible. The AGM approved both the technical and financial reports for the fiscal year 2079/80 BS, and granted authority to the Board for the appointment of auditor to audit the programs and financial activities of the fiscal year 2080/81 BS.

The Acting Chairperson of the Center and Chair of the 35^th AGM Dr. Pius Raj Mishra concluded the AMG delivering his closing statement and guidance. He acknowledged for the active participation and contribution of the general members and board members, and their crucial roles in achieving success. He further extended his appreciation to hardworking staff of CEAPRED for the remarkable achievement made so far. Dr. Mishra officially closed the meeting, expressing his gratitude to all those who involved in making the 35^th AGM a grand success.
