NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

Recognizing the efforts made by CEAPRED in developing the Dhankuta model of vegetable/vegetable seed production as an option for poverty alleviation, the ICIMOD has entrusted the Centre for developing status and potential report on vegetable and vegetable seed production as an Enterprise for Poverty Alleviation. This assignment concerns conduction of research study in 11 VDCs of Ilam district to collect field data and carry out analysis on status and potentials of vegetable and vegetable seed an an enterprise in bio-diversity corridors at the ICIMOD project sites.
