Mr. Indra Raj Pandey is the focal person responsible for the implementation, supervision and monitoring of the project activities.

NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

The central intent of the project is to uplift the nutritional status of the resource poor and disadvantaged farm HHs owning less than 0.05 Ha of land through increased production of fruits and vegetables in their home garden and thereby increasing food security by providing direct access to food.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES PROVIDED

  • Mobilized, organized and technically trained farmers in different aspects of year round production of home garden product, health and sanitation, nutrition of family.
  • Established village multipurpose nurseries.
  • Built Cooperation and collaboration with other SDC funded projects.
  • Capacity building of participating home gardening farmers.
  • Provide trainings on Home gardening, Nutrition Awareness, Waste water management etc.
