National Consultation on “Organic Nepal Program: Framework and Way Forward”

CEAPRED is going to organize a National consultation on “Organic Nepal Program: Framework and Way Forward” on 28 December 2010 at CEAPRED Central Office premises Shantibasti, Lalitpur. The objective of the workshop is to generate a shared understanding and pave the ground for networking and coordination for launching the “Organic Nepal” program. The participants of the workshop will be from Government organization, Nongovernment organization, Private sector, Practitioners, I/National experts etc. The major discussion topics will be: Organic agriculture in global context, Organic initiatives in Nepal and Organic Nepal program context framework and key elements followed by focus group discussion on thematic areas like research and development, technology dissemination, enabling policy environment and institutional framework.
