Organic Nepal Meeting Committee Held

The first meeting of Organic Nepal Committee was held in CEAPRED central office premises on 21st January, 2011. The meeting was attended by the members of the committee and the invitees included Dr. Hari Upadhayaya, Executive Chairperson, CEAPRED and Mr Durga. P. Upreti, Agriculture Economist. Discussions were held on various topics such as the coordination and organizational structure of the committee, areas to be considered while developing action plan, composition of the action plan team and other future courses of action to carry the organic movement forward at national and local levels. The meeting elected Mr. Deepak Baskota as coordinator of the committee. The Committee constituted an Action Plan Team composed of Mr. Krishna Kumar Shrestha as the Coordinator of the Team, and Dr Krishna Ram Amatya and Mr. Maheswor Ghimire as the members
