Agreement Signed with ICIMOD

CEAPRED signed an agreement with ICIMOD for a project titled “Participatory Action Research on Stress Tolerant Non-paddy crops.” The objectives of the project are to conduct PAR on stress tolerant crop varieties on non-paddy crops; initiate and establish seed banks and seed exchange mechanism, document farmers’ practices with regard to crop management and establish knowledge bank, establish network with other agencies working on stress tolerant crops and link farmers group to such networks. The duration of the work is one year, starting from May 1 2011 to May 31, 2012.
