UNNATI Project Staff Felicitated

Amidst a modest function organized at the centre office of CEAPRED on the 9th of December 2015, for the staffs of the UNNATI project implemented in partnership with CARE Nepal with financial assistance of European Union (EU), project staffs were felicitated by the chairperson of the organization – Dr. Hari Krishna Upadhyaya.

On this occasion, Program Director, Mr. Keshab Datta Joshi welcomed the participants and expressed that the project has produced outstanding results in a short period of two and half years. He was thankful to all the staffs who were hardworking and dedicated to achieve the targeted results. 

To add to that, Executive Director, Mr. Bharat Prasad Upadhyay, articulated that this was only a closing of a project but not a farewell to the staffs as the staffs are a part of CEAPRED family. Following CEAPRED’s tradition, institutional relationship with the outgoing project staffs will remain.

Lastly, the Chairperson – Dr. Hari Krishna Upadhyaya congratulated everyone on the successful completion of the project and also emphasized on the words of our Executive Director, Mr. Bharat Upadhyaya by saying our relation doesn’t end here as we all are the members of CEAPRED family now, which shall continue to grow. Having said this, he also said that a letter of appreciation will be given to each staff of the project as an appreciation of their hard work.

The program ended shortly after a few minutes of experience sharing of the respective field experiences. Participants unanimously expressed the view that UNNATI’s achievements in terms of first piloting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) based commercial vegetable production system to safeguard human and animal health can add another new milestone in the history of CEAPRED.
