16th Annual Workshop

CEAPRED organized its 16th Annual Workshop from 18-20 December, 2011 at the central premises in Shanti Basti, Ring Road, Lalitpur. Altogether, 90 field staff from different projects of CEAPRED participated in the workshop. The inaugural session was chaired by Dr. Hari Krishna Upadhyaya, Executive Chairperson of CEAPRED. The workshop was organized with the objectives to foster mutual learning and team building among the staff and to contribute to staff capacity building.

In the three-day workshop, Team Leaders and Coordinators of nine ongoing and recently completed projects made presentations on the annual progress and achievement of their respective projects. Among 21 presentations, three best presentations were awarded in the closing session in order to encourage the field staff. Similarly, sessions were also conducted by the Center on CEAPRED’s Personnel and Financial Administration Rules, 2068; Medical Insurance and CEAPRED Online Database Engine (CODE).

The closing session of the workshop saw participation from donors, partners, members of governmental and non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders. Dr. Hari Krishna Upadhyaya, the Executive Chairperson, chaired the session while Dr. Prabhakar Pathak, Joint Secretary, MoAC was the chief guest.

The outcome of this workshop will contribute to shaping the future strategies of CEAPRED towards serving the rural poor.
